Barbarian: RazorClaw BBN:20

Nearly "done" with the past life pokemon deck.

Three times through RazorClaw with 2 EPLs on one pass and one on each of the rest will get me the 4 remaining Divine EPLs, 3 RazorClaw Iconic lives, and 2 Barbarian lives.

Haven't done Barb since before Strikethrough, so, not taking Cleave and Great Cleave feels pretty weird.

Last BBN build I did was 41 points into FB for the capstone, and the rest into Ravager to get the T5s.

Anyway, Yaa recommended this setup that selects the FB T5s and puts some points into OC, so I'll give it a go.

So far, this is working very well.

At this time (Mar 2021, Update 48.4) THF seems to be in a very good place.

Last time I did Barb, I took Cleave / Great Cleave / Supreme Cleave, and not using those now feels very strange, but I'm getting used to it. There's still a fair amount of stuff with different timer durations for me to keep on cooldown, but I think I'll get a handle on it.

Running in Divine Crusader, and I'm pleased enough to not be concerned about doing this setup for the balance of my remaining RazorClaw/BBN lives.

Self-Healing is a nuisance, but I'm able to dismiss Rage and scroll-heal up if I need to between combat encounters without running out of Rages - the level 16 Racial Core "Regenerating Shift" regens Rages faster than I can use them.


Next time I go through the Character Creation process, I'll max Intim and dump something else (prolly Spot). Getting the nearby mobs to gather around me seems to make StrikeThrough work a lot better.

I'm not 100% convinced that the 16 points spent in OC are better than investing in Ravager. Will probably try it after I get a better feel for how to drive this build.
